Common questions
How do I add my own station?
Go to My Stations → tap +, and paste any stream URL (an MP3, AAC, or HLS .m3u8 link). Most internet-radio "stream" links work.
Does it work in my car?
Yes — raRadio supports CarPlay. Connect your iPhone to your car and open raRadio on the CarPlay screen to browse and play stations.
Why do some stations show a colored letter tile?
When a station has no logo (or only a tiny low-res one), raRadio shows a clean generated tile so every station looks sharp on the phone, lock screen, and CarPlay.
Does it keep playing after a phone call?
Yes. It pauses for the call and resumes the live stream as soon as you hang up.
Is it free?
Yes — raRadio is free, with no ads.

raRadio ("the app") is designed to be private. We do not run ad networks, we do not use third-party analytics or trackers, and we never sell your data. No account or sign-in is required.
What the app stores
- Your custom stations — the stream URLs and names you add.
- Your favorites — the stations you star and their order.
Where it's stored
This information is stored on your device. If iCloud sync is enabled in a future version, it is kept in your own Apple iCloud (CloudKit) account. We (the developer) do not operate a server that collects your data.
Streaming & third-party services
The app streams audio directly from the radio stations you choose. Those stations may receive standard technical request data (such as your IP address) as a normal part of streaming, governed by their own privacy policies. To show track titles and cover art, the app may send the currently-playing track's text to public music APIs (iTunes Search, Deezer, lyrics.ovh). No personal information is sent.
Children
raRadio is rated 4+ and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can delete any custom station or favorite in the app at any time. To request deletion of data that may be cached in iCloud records, email varanauskaslukas@gmail.com.
