Common questions
How do friends join my group?
Open the group, tap the ••• menu → Share join code, and send them the code or link. They enter it to join.
Does it work offline?
Yes. You can add expenses with no internet; they save on your phone and sync to iCloud automatically when you're back online.
Where are my receipt photos sent?
Nowhere — receipts are read on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition.
How do I delete my data?
Delete a group or expense in the app, or email us to request full deletion.

SplitFusion ("the app") is designed to be private. We do not run ad networks, we do not use third-party analytics or trackers, and we never sell your data.
What the app stores
- The names you enter for yourself and the people in your groups.
- Expense details you add — amounts, titles, dates, who paid, and how things are split.
- Group information — names, currency, and join codes.
Where it's stored
Your data is stored on your device and, when iCloud sync is enabled, in your Apple iCloud (CloudKit) account. Group data is shared only with the people who are members of that group. We (the developer) do not operate a separate server that collects your data.
Receipts & the camera
If you scan a receipt, the photo is processed on your device using Apple's on-device text recognition to read the total. Receipt photos are not uploaded to us.
Notifications
Payment reminders are scheduled locally on your device and are optional. You control them in the app's Settings.
Children
SplitFusion is rated 4+ and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can delete any group or expense at any time. To request deletion of data that may be cached in shared iCloud records, email varanauskaslukas@gmail.com.

We may update this policy; material changes will be posted on this page with a new date.
